My 7 year old sons love this book! They think it's hilarious! They read it over and over again!. It's still inspirational.. He spends some time looking at the work of Japanese primatologist Kinji Imanishi. I really had high hopes for this memoir after reading a blurb in Vanity Fair. Scale studies help to learn where the notes are on your perspective instrument, as well as building dexterity. Apprentice cooks and young apes both learn through years of observation and imitation.Reading this book will give you insights into not only how we view animals and what the nature of culture is, but it also has something to say about how we view ourselves.
