French car designer Olivier Gamiette has produced a book about his foray into watch design which presents 30+ 3D concept watch ideas. The designs themselves are quite interesting, but also cool is the fact that he gives Photoshop tutorials for the process of creating each one. Apparently, this large long-horn beetle was so delicious that the islanders literally consumed every single one. Even in these modern times of GPS, precision optics, and the "automated information system" (AIS) on all major ships that transmits a vessel's name, course, speed, cargo, etc. Lush orchids clung to tree branches, roses on vines wrapped sensuously around trunks and flowers I didn't know the names of carpeted the forest floor. nevaer essentially attributes gap's challengesto gay people. I bought it for my son (4th grade) who was writing a report on mechanical watches, and we found that this book covered that and a whole lot more. I'd say it's okay to carry that picture in your head as you take up this book. The illustrations are compelling and informative. That's forgivable given the author's background as a genuine devotee of his subject, and not an academic. I LOVE that this book is a Generational Favorite. I bought this novel on the strength of the story premise given here at Amazon, and it's certainly a good one. She writes with an easy style.
